Field Trip of Honest Eds
Last friday,we went to Honest Eds which has 65 yrs history and going to be closed in few days. They have lots of 25 cents items on sale,we could tell on their flyers .Interesting! So we went to check it out.
We arrived at 10:30am,not much people in the store.the store has 3 floors, the commodities were on the first floor, clothes were on the second floor, and the bedclothes and bath things were on the third floor. I started to look aroundThey did have many goods just cost 25 cents, but lots of goods were on the regular price as well as other supermakets, even though they said the price were after discounts.hand cleansing gel(60ml),facial tissues, batteries and something small were cost 25cents,otherwise almost the same price with others. It was funny,I saw cassette types, radio and walkman these old things still on sale!I thought nobody ues them anymore. But I can tell Honest Eds is a traditional store in Toronto. So even though i didn't buy anything in honest Eds,but it really worth to see and feel, especially for our new commers.
The other thing I learnt from this field trip is not to drive to downtown anymore unless I will try to avoid the rush time and traffic.Downtown commuting is a pain, finding parking and getting in and around.I found a parking spot behind the store at the beginning, and I paid for a whole day .And then after shopping I changed to another spot with meter also which i thought was the correct one.But I took a wrong area then I got a parking ticket afterwards. :(
Anyway,I enjoyed this trip and learnt a lot from it.:)

Planning activities in summer holiday
Montreal is the biggest city in Quebec. The name derives from mont Real,as it was spelled in Middle French. In one word,Montreal is a pretty nice city I have heard, and I never been there before. So i made a decision that I have to look around it and leaving at next weekend as our summer vacation.Of course ,we will bring my dog together :)
The drive is opproximately 5 hrs,we will be leaving at 3pm and might get there around in the evening in which we will go to old Montreal and spend a quiet evening and have dinner. The following day we will spend a half the day in the morning at the river farmers market and walk around the old Montreal.Later in the afternoon we will head to the Eaton Center which is 3 times bigger then the one in Toronto and spend the afternoon to shopping. When the evening coming we can walk down Rene levesque and see the local festival.
The third day ,we will go for bicycle riding after breakfast.Riding as a aerobic exerise for us and also to my dog, because he will running after us.:)
Just wish we can have a nice vacation and good memories over there!
